Over the past year, a Michigan man started testing his luck with the lottery, and he’s received emails telling him he won a prize. Those emails said he had won small prizes — anywhere from $5 to $100 — the Macomb County man told lottery officials.

A lottery player tried their luck on a game in Pierce County, Washington, and ended up winning $4.2 million. The player bought a Lotto ticket during the Sept. 14 drawing at a Safeway in Puyallup, a spokesperson for Washington’s Lottery told McClatchy News by email Sept. 18.

A player in Springfield, IL won the $1 million top prize on a $10 Gold Multiplier Instant Ticket purchased at Fas Mart, located at the Marathon gas station at 3801 South 6th Street.

This store in Massachusetts, located right by the New Hampshire border, sold a winning $100,000 lottery ticket on Wednesday.
