The In Their Honor Veterans Day Parade was moved from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday to buy extra time to clear out snow from the Tejon Street route.

The snowstorm ended on Saturday, Nov. 9, just in time for Colorado Springs’ annual Veterans Day parade. The parade honors the sacrifices of veterans and active-duty military personnel stationed at the city’s five local installations.

The Colorado Springs area is expected to have sunny weather with a high near 52 degrees and a north-northwest wind around 5 mph. Areas of fog are possible in the San Luis Valley and along the Arkansas River.
