Ineos is having a bit of an issue with its supply chain. No, the global chip shortage hasn’t returned, but one of its suppliers has had a cash flow issue. Apparently said supplier makes a 'critical component' for the Grenadier and Grenadier Quartermaster.

The Ineos Grenadier may be virtually unstoppable off-road, but it’s hit a roadblock in production thanks to a missing trim piece that a supplier cannot provide due to what has been described as “a pre-insolvency situation”. Neither the supplier, nor the trim piece, has been named.

The news comes from Ineos Automotive CEO Lynn Calder in an interview with Automotive News Europe. The supplier issue affects Grenadier and Quartermaster models. "I know that the [supplier] is working really hard to try and turn around their business and I want to give them every opportunity to do that”, she said.
