Apple continues its tradition of decking out the Fifth Avenue store ahead of product launches, this time with glowing rainbow colors signifying Apple Intelligence on iPhone 16.

As the iPhones went on sale, however, Apple released the first public beta of iOS 18.1, an early version of the software that will bring Apple Intelligence. New customers can get access to those features in an early version by joining Apple’s beta programme and choosing to download that update.

All will be revealed at Apple’s “Glowtime” event, scheduled for Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m. PT. The company is expected to announce four iPhone 16 models and at least two new Apple Watches. We’ll also learn more about “Apple Intelligence,” powered by the company’s new A18 Pro chip.

Apple will assemble the iPhone Pro Series in India for the first time, with the iPhone 16 Pro starting at ₹1,19,900. The series features enhanced AI capabilities and larger displays, with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus also launching at competitive prices.

The new AI iPhone is now available in Apple stores after hitting shelves in almost 60 countries around the world on Friday.
