Two vehicles were damaged after being hit by gunfire in two separate shootings early Tuesday morning, according to Anne Arundel County police.

ANNE AUNDEL CO., Md. - An Anne Arundel County woman died following a golf cart accident, according to the police department. Officers were called to the 600 block of Maid Marion Hill in Annapolis by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 to assist with an injured person.

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened Sunday night. The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the hit-and-run happened on Nov. 10 at around 9:30 p.m. near Ritchie Highway South at the on-ramp of Interstate 695 East.

A woman suffered "life-threatening" injuries after she was involved in a golf cart accident, police said. She died in the hospital two days later.

Police say that something occurred to the golf cart while it was being operated that caused the passenger, Mary Blasetti, 32, to be thrown from the vehicle, according to Marc Limansky, spokesperson for Anne Arundel Police.

Another woman, who was driving the golf cart, was uninjured in the incident. Police said it appeared to be an accident but an investigation is ongoing.
