The race for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania remains tight between incumbent U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D) and Republican Dave McCormick. A new Emerson College Polling/The Hill shows Casey with a 5% lead in the race with 47% support to McCormick’s 42%.

It is the first time either Harris or Trump have cracked the 50% mark in Pennsylvania. In Quinnipiac’s August poll of Pennsylvanians, Harris led Trump 48% to 45%. Besides Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac has Harris leading 50% to 45% in Michigan and 48% to 47% in Wisconsin, two other battleground states.

The state’s closely watched Senate race shows a similarly tight contest, and 93 percent of registered voters say they are certain to vote.
