Emergency crews evacuated multiple businesses and homes in a Bronx neighborhood because of a ruptured gas main on Sunday morning, a representative for the fire department said. Fumes and the odor of gas covered the area near 379 Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bronx around 9:40 a.
