And it’s a shame because it’s a film worth watching with what may be an Oscar-worthy performance by Kate Winslet and excellent cinematography by Pawel Edelman.

There is a great movie in Lee – for instance, how Lee Miller's photographs intimately depicted women's realities after the war, from the head-shavings of alleged nazi collaborators to the unpunished sexual assaults on women by both sides of the conflict. However, it just needed a bit more bravery to bring it out and stick with it.
