The father of the woman, who was sexually assaulted at a police station in Bhubaneswar, on Friday demanded the arrest and dismissal of the cops for taking the law into their hands.

BHUBANESWAR: Taking suo-motu cognisance of the alleged sexual assault of a fiancé of an army officer in Bharatpur police station, the Odisha State Commission for Women (SCW) on Friday started an investigation into the incident.

The fiancé of an army captain, was allegedly assaulted by police in Bhubaneswar, claims mistreatment and violence after seeking help. The woman alleges police officers mistreated her when she sought help while her fiancé lodged a formal complaint against the police.
