There are vendors on each end of the bridge...huge celebration. Third Saturday in October. The Bridge Walk Tour is conducted on the catwalk beneath the bridge deck and is worth every penny.

Don’t know if this is of any help to you, but when I looked at their website last night the price per person was $72. Looks like it is at least a 2 hr tour though. If you’ve never been to the park at the bridge, I highly recommend it. It is now operated by the National Parks Service.

A:
My Wife was not sure at all about this but quickly became comfortable. Our guide was great. They say 2 to 3 hours. more like 2 total.

We went at 11:00 it was beautiful! Maybe avoid early AM may be fog in gorge?
